In Lampung, Customs Authority Issues Bonded Zone Facility Licence for PT LDC Indonesia
BANDAR LAMPUNG — The Regional Office of Customs (Kanwil) for the West Sumatran Region (Sumbagbar) has issued a bonded zone facility licence to PT LDC Indonesia for Line 1, located in Lampung Province.
The issuance of the licence forms part of the government’s efforts to support industrial downstream integration and strengthen national industry competitiveness. The symbolic handover of the licence was conducted through the signing of a certificate by Parjiya, Acting Head of the Sumbagbar Customs Regional Office. With the issuance of this licence, all operational lines of PT LDC Indonesia are now situated within an integrated bonded zone ecosystem.
Previously, PT LDC Indonesia obtained bonded zone facility licences for Line 3 as a production facility and Line 2 as a storage facility under a special separate location scheme. The addition of Line 1 under the same scheme completes the company’s facility arrangements, enabling the entire production chain from upstream to downstream to operate within an integrated system.
Prior to licence issuance, PT LDC Indonesia presented its business process to the Sumbagbar Customs Regional Office as part of the bonded zone facility application process. This activity aimed to ensure that all manufacturing activities complied with applicable customs regulations and standards.
Parjiya stated that the provision of this facility represents government support in creating a conducive investment climate and enhancing export-oriented industry performance. According to him, cooperation between the government and business actors is an important factor in strengthening national industry competitiveness.
“With the integration of all production lines within the bonded zone facility, it is hoped that the company’s operational processes will be more efficient and able to make a greater contribution to both regional and national economic growth,” he said in a statement on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.
PT LDC Indonesia also expressed its commitment to continuously improve operational efficiency and strengthen competitiveness in the global market. With complete facility licences across all operational lines, the company is optimistic it can make a greater contribution to economic growth and investment increases, particularly in Lampung Province.
