In Hambalang, Prabowo Gives Special Instructions on Downstreaming to Rosan

Investment Minister and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani met with President Prabowo Subianto at his private residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, today.

In that meeting, the man who is also the CEO of BPI Danantara received instructions from Prabowo regarding the acceleration of downstreaming and strengthening of several priority programmes currently being implemented by Danantara.

“Thank you, Mr President @prabowo, for the guidance on accelerating downstreaming and strengthening Danantara’s priority programmes, today in Hambalang,” said Rosan, quoted from a post on the official Instagram @roslanroeslani, Friday (24/4/2026).

Rosan stated that the downstreaming programmes being implemented will increase investment in Indonesia. He also claimed that incoming investments are increasingly adding value, from opening up wider job opportunities to advancing the Indonesian industry.

“Investments in Indonesia, God willing, will increasingly add value, open up more job opportunities, and drive the national industry to become more competitive,” said Rosan.

This is the second time Rosan has met with Prabowo in a week. Previously, on Tuesday, 21 April 2026, Rosan also met with Prabowo at the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta. At that time, he reported investment realisation to Prabowo.

According to Rosan, in the first quarter of 2026, or investments over the first three months, it reached Rp 498.79 trillion. This figure has already exceeded the first-quarter target of Rp 497 trillion. This achievement is also 7.22% larger than the same period in the previous year.
