In Front of Prabowo, the National Police Chief Reveals a Series of Innovations to Improve Agricultural Production

In front of President Prabowo Subianto, the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, revealed a series of innovations that have been implemented by the police to optimise and enhance agricultural production.

Sigit stated that the police are collaborating with local MSMEs to encourage the utilisation of agricultural by-products through the development of corn cob briquettes named ‘Miracle Carbon’.

This was conveyed by Sigit at the simultaneous second-quarter corn harvest event, the groundbreaking ceremony for 10 National Police food security warehouses, and the launch of operations for 166 National Police Agricultural Equipment Centres (SPPG) in Tuban Regency, East Java.

“As an alternative energy source for household needs, supporting MSMEs, heating chicken coops, and replacing firewood,” said Sigit on Saturday, May 16, 2026.

In terms of supporting increased agricultural productivity, Sigit mentioned that the National Police has created precision fertiliser based on coal, which is beneficial for raising the pH level by one to two levels.

“As well as restoring nutrients, so that it can enrich the soil and make plants healthier,” said Sigit.

According to Sigit, this innovation has been implemented in cornfields in West Java and Papua provinces.

Furthermore, Sigit explained that other innovations carried out by the police include creating vertical dryers, corn threshing machines, soil testers, solar-powered pumps, Atmospheric Water Generators, and Mobile Rotary Dryers.

“Which are useful for drying corn evenly and more cleanly without having to bring the harvest to the warehouse,” concluded Sigit.
