In conjunction with the planned construction of a monorail in
Jakarta, several reporters were invited by the Jakarta
administration to travel to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from Oct. 6
to Oct. 10 for a comparative study of the monorail system in that
city. The following is a report from The Jakarta Post's Bambang
