In 1.5 Years, Prabowo Reveals Total State Funds Saved Reach Rp 31.3 Trillion
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto stated that the government under his leadership has successfully saved a total of Rp 31.3 trillion in state funds. Prabowo feels honoured and delighted because, in the past 1.5 years, the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) has recovered tens of trillions of rupiah that had been embezzled through corruption. “My fellow citizens, this is an honour and a joy for me, that this has happened repeatedly in the government I lead, in just one and a half years,” Prabowo said, followed by rapturous applause at the Attorney General’s Office building in Jakarta on Friday (10/4/2026). In October 2025, Prabowo succeeded in saving state funds amounting to Rp 13.255 trillion in a corruption case concerning the provision of export facilities for crude palm oil (CPO) and its derivatives. For Prabowo, the figure of Rp 31.3 trillion that has been recovered is extraordinarily large. “Thus, the total cash that we have managed to save up to today is Rp 31.3 trillion. This is a very large amount,” he continued.
