Suhoor is a Sunnah for Muslims observing fasting. The Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs states that the Sunnah of suhoor is reflected in the hadith narrated by Anas bin Malik, in which the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said: “Suhoor, for indeed there is blessing in suhoor.” (Muttafaqun ’alaih).

Additionally, suhoor is important to ensure sufficient energy in the body to fast for the day without eating or drinking. Suhoor is performed in the morning before sunrise and ends with the adhan for imsak and the Fajr prayer.

For this reason, Muslims are advised to observe suhoor on time, taking into account the imsak and fajr times in their region. Bacaan Niat Puasa Ramadhan

Niat Puasa Ramadhan

نَوَيْتُ صَوْمَ غَدٍ عَنْ أَدَاءِ فَرْضِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ لِلّٰهِ تَعَالَى

Nawaitu shauma ghadin ’an ada’i fardhi syahri Ramadhana hadzihis sanati lillahi ta’ala.

Artinya: “Aku niat berpuasa esok hari untuk menunaikan kewajiban puasa bulan Ramadhan tahun ini, karena Allah Ta’ala”

Niat Puasa Ramadhan 1 Bulan Penuh

نَوَيْتُ صَوْمَ جَمِيْعِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانِ هٰذِهِ السَّنَةِ فَرْضًا لِلّٰهِ تَعَالَى

Nawaitu shauma jami’i syahri ramadhani hadhihis sanati fardhan lillahi ta’ala.

Artinya: “Aku niat berpuasa di sepanjang bulan Ramadhan tahun ini dengan mengikuti pendapat Imam Malik, wajib karena Allah Ta’ala.” (Shafira Amalia, ed: Nashih)
