The pre-dawn meal helps the body store energy so stamina, concentration, and productivity remain steady throughout the day. Niat Puasa Ramadhan

From the MUI Digital site, the following niat (intention) prayers for Ramadan may be recited when commencing the fast:

Niat Puasa Ramadhan

نَوَيْتُ صَوْمَ غَدٍ عَنْ أَدَاءِ فَرْضِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ هَذِهِ السَّنَةِ لِلّٰهِ تَعَالَى

Nawaitu shauma ghadin ’an ada’i fardhi syahri Ramadhana hadhihissanati lillahi ta’ala.

Meaning: “I intend to fast tomorrow to fulfil the obligation of fasting in the month of Ramadhan this year, for Allah Ta’ala.”

Niat Puasa Ramadhan 1 Bulan Penuh

نَوَيْتُ صَوْمَ جَمِيْعِ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانِ هٰذِهِ السَّنَةِ فَرْضًا لِلّٰهِ تَعَالَى

Nawaitu shauma jami’i syahri ramadhani hadzihis sanati fardhan lillahi ta’ala.

Meaning: “I intend to fast for the entire month of Ramadhan this year, as an obligation to Allah Ta’ala.” (Shafira Amalia, ed: Nashih)
