Ramadan fasting in the 1447 AH has entered its 18th day, Sunday (8/3).

It is important for Muslims to know the imsak time so as not to miss sahur.

Imsak is a reminder that the sahur time has ended. After imsak, the dawn prayer (subuh) usually arrives a few minutes later.

CNNIndonesia.com summarises the imsak and subuh times in several Indonesian cities today, drawn from the Jadwal Imsakiyah on the official site of the Ditjen Bimas Islam Kemenag.

In Jakarta and the surrounding area, imsak falls at 04:33 WIB. Subuh time is exactly 10 minutes later, at 04:43 WIB.

The imsak time in Bandung, West Java, is 04:29 WIB. Ten minutes later, at 04:39, Bandung enters the Subuh time.

Then in Medan, North Sumatra, imsak falls at 05:09 WIB and Subuh at 05:19 WIB.

Meanwhile in Denpasar, Bali, imsak schedule falls at 04:58 WITA and Subuh schedule at 05:08 WITA.
