Improving Services, Pertamina Patra Niaga Opens Partnership Opportunities for Petrol Stations
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is opening partnership opportunities for the establishment of petrol stations (SPBU) to the public as part of an effort to improve fuel supply services throughout Indonesia.
VP of Corporate Communication at Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora, stated in Jakarta on Friday that the company is continuously expanding its energy distribution network to enhance access and availability for communities in various regions of Indonesia.
“The network development is being carried out through plans to add new distribution points, including regular, mini, and fishing petrol stations, spread across several regions,” she said.
According to her, the expansion plan covers 25 provinces in Indonesia, including areas such as Deli Serdang Regency, Batam City, Lampung, Banyumas Regency, Berau Regency, Bone Regency, Sorong Regency, and Fakfak Regency.
As of August 2024, Pertamina Patra Niaga’s distribution network is supported by 8,381 petrol stations, consisting of 6,494 regular units, 494 mini/modular units, 977 compact units, and 416 fishing stations spread across various regions of Indonesia.
Kitty expressed hope that this network expansion would bring energy services closer to the community while simultaneously supporting the growth of economic activities in the regions.
“To support this network development, Pertamina Patra Niaga is opening partnership opportunities for the public and prospective partners interested in participating in the development of the Pertamina petrol station partnership network,” she said.
Kitty noted that the expansion of the distribution network is part of Pertamina Patra Niaga’s commitment to ensuring more equitable energy availability and access.
“The addition of distribution points is part of our efforts to continue expanding energy access and bringing Pertamina’s services closer to the people. In the process, we are also opening opportunities for the public and business partners to collaborate as part of Pertamina’s energy distribution ecosystem,” she added.
Kitty further added that these partnerships not only provide business and investment opportunities but also serve as a form of collaboration to support the equalisation of energy access across various regions of Indonesia.
The entire partnership process is conducted transparently and in accordance with applicable regulations, ranging from registration, verification, and licensing fulfilment to construction and operations.
