Improving Services, Pertamina Opens Opportunities for Petrol Station Partnerships
PT Pertamina (Persero), through PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, continues to expand its energy distribution network to improve access and availability of energy services for the public across various regions in Indonesia. This network development is being carried out through plans to add new distribution points, including Regular, Mini, and Fisherman Petrol Stations (SPBU Nelayan), spread across several areas.
The expansion plan for these new distribution points covers 2ability 5 provinces in Indonesia, including Deli Serdang Regency, Batam City, Lampung, Banyumas Regency, Berau Regency, Bone Regency, Sorong Regency, Fakfak Regency, and several other regions.
As of August 2024, Pertamina Patra Niaga’s distribution network is supported by 8,381 petrol stations, consisting of 6,494 Regular stations, 494 Mini/Modular stations, 977 Compact stations, and 416 Fisherman stations spread across various parts of Indonesia. This network expansion is expected to bring energy services closer to the community while simultaneously supporting the growth of economic activities in the regions.
To support this network development, Pertamina Patra Niaga is opening partnership opportunities for the public and prospective partners interested in participating in the development of Pertamina’s Petrol Station Partnership network.
Kitty Andhora, VP of Corporate Communication at Pertamina Patra Niaga, stated that the expansion of the distribution network is part of Pertamina Patra Niaga’s commitment to ensuring more equitable energy availability and access.
“The addition of distribution points is part of our efforts to continue expanding energy access and bringing Pertamina’s services closer to the community. In the process, we are also opening opportunities for the public and business partners to collaborate and become part of Pertamina’s energy distribution ecosystem,” said Kitty.
Kitty added that these partnerships not only provide business and investment opportunities but also serve as a form of collaboration to support the equalisation of energy access across various regions in Indonesia. The entire partnership process is conducted transparently and in accordance with applicable regulations, ranging from registration, verification, and licensing fulfilment to construction and operations.
Pertamina Patra Niaga invites the public and prospective partners to take advantage of the available partnership opportunities and to work together in supporting the development of the energy distribution network in various regions. This collaboration is expected to expand energy access, support regional economic growth, and strengthen national energy security, including the Fisherman Petrol Station partnerships to support the ‘Kampung Nelayan Merah Putih’ programme.
