Impressive! Bank Mandiri's KUR Distribution Reaches Rp29.53 Trillion as of August 2026
Bank Mandiri (BMRI) is expanding access to financing for businesses, particularly within productive sectors, through the distribution of People’s Business Credit (KUR). As of 31 August 2026, Bank Mandiri has distributed Rp29.53 trillion in KUR, reaching 72.03% of this year’s target of Rp41 trillion.
This distribution has reached 223,284 MSME debtors across Indonesia, assisting business owners in developing their business capacity and increasing their scale of operations.
The commitment to productive sectors is reflected in the composition of Bank Mandability’s KUR distribution. During the first eight months of 2026, 64.48% or Rp19.04 trillion of the KUR flowed into the production sector, while 35.52% or Rp10.48 trillion went to the non-production sector.
Specifically, the agricultural sector was the largest recipient with a distribution of Rp9.84 trillion (33.32%), followed by the production services sector at Rp6.47 trillion (21.92%), and the manufacturing industry at Rp2.28 trillion (7.75%). Distribution also included the fisheries sector at Rp424 billion (1.44%) and the mining sector at Rp14.62 billion (0.05%).
Senior Vice President of Micro Development and Agent Banking at Bank Mandiri, Bayu Trisno Arief Setiawan, stated that this composition demonstrates the bank’s focus on expanding financing to production sectors that play a role in absorbing more labour, creating added value, and supporting national strategic programmes.
He emphasised that KUR distribution is directed towards opening access to financing that can help business owners increase productivity, strengthen business capacity, and grow alongside the surrounding ecosystem.
