Implicated in Alleged Drug Network, Whiterabit PIK Sealed and Licence Revoked
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Whiterabit, a nightclub in the Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) area, Kapuk Muara, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, became the target of sealing and business licence revocation by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government on Thursday (23/4/2026).
The nightclub is suspected to be part of a narcotics distribution network supplied by Andre Fernando alias The Doctor.
Kasie Penyidikan dan Tindak Internal Satpol PP DKI Jakarta, Henny Yusfida, explained that her side installed banners and closure stickers or business activity cessation at Whiterabit.
The enforcement against Whiterabit stemmed from a case uncovered by the police.
Henny stated that the case relates to narcotics circulation in night entertainment venues, uncovered by the Narcotics Crime Directorate of Bareskrim Polri at the end of March 2026.
“In the series of case developments, searches were conducted at several White Rabbit business locations, one of which is in Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), North Jakarta,” said Henny.
“Subsequently, in early April 2026, Bareskrim Polri issued an official release regarding the uncovering of the case along with the arrest of the perpetrators and evidence,” she continued.
After that, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government through the Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf) conducted supervision, monitoring, and evaluation of the business.
“From the results of the supervision and evaluation, it was found that White Rabbit PIK’s business activities violated Article 54 of the Jakarta Governor Regulation No. 18 of 2018 on the Implementation of Tourism Businesses,” said Henny.
“Subsequently, the proposal was followed up by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Agency on 10 April 2026 through the Business Licence Revocation Notification Letter in the name of PT Pribadi Utama Mandiri with Business Identification Number 0908220019155,” she revealed.
Henny added that the licence revocation was carried out for all types of businesses operating at the location.
The revocation process was carried out in stages on 8–9 April 2026 according to each authority.
She also mentioned that Disparekraf DKI had sent a closure recommendation letter to Satpol PP on Monday (20/4/2026).
