PT Asurability Jiwa IFG (IFG Life) has once again implemented a social programme through the distribution of Qurbani animals in conjunction with the celebration of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriah. This activity is part of the company’s commitment to strengthening social awareness and fostering closer relationships with the communities surrounding its operational areas.

For this year’s Eid al-Adha, IFG Life sacrificed one cow and three goats, which were slaughtered at the Baiturrahim Mosque, IFG Life Juanda, Jakarta, on Friday (29/5). The meat was subsequently distributed to employees and residents living near the activity site.

IFG Life Corporate Secretary, Gatot Haryadi, stated that the Qurbani programme is a form of the company’s contribution to providing tangible benefits to the community while fostering a sense of togetherness within the workplace. “Qurbani is not merely a ritual act of worship, but also a means to strengthen social solidarity, which is a core value of our company. Eid al-Adha is the perfect moment to share with others, especially those in need around us,” Gatot said in a written statement on Tuesday (2/6).

Through this activity, the company hopes to bring happiness and blessings to the beneficiaries, while strengthening the bond between employees and the local community. The Qurbani programme is also part of the Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) implementation consistently carried out by IFG Life. Through various social programmes, the company strives to support community welfare and contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in the social aspect.

IFG Life management emphasised that the Qurbani activity has become an annual agenda, performed routinely every Eid al-Adha. The programme reflects the company’s commitment to continuously fostering a culture of sharing and social care as part of its corporate values.

In a related initiative, Askrindo distributed 23 cows and 36 goats to communities around its company premises across 30 cities in Indonesia. Through these activities, the company hopes that the benefits of the Qurbani animals can be felt widely by the public, particularly by families in need, as a tangible form of the organisation’s moral responsibility to others.
