IMPC develops international-standard polymer training center
The development of IPSI is part of the Company’s commitment to strengthening Indonesia’s human resources and developing a skilled workforce capable of meeting the evolving needs of the plastics and polymer industry.
As part of IPSI’s development roadmap, the Company conducted a Training of Trainers (ToT) program from July 27 to 31, 2026. During the program, IPSI instructors received five days of in-person training from SKZ experts.
The ToT program was preceded by 12 days of online training conducted on May 11-13 and June 2-12, 2026.
Through the program, IPSI instructors were equipped with advanced technical knowledge, teaching methodologies, and international best practices to ensure consistent and industry-relevant delivery of IPSI’s future training programs.
President Director of PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk Haryanto Tjiptodihardjo said the development of IPSI represents the Company’s long-term investment in improving the quality of Indonesia’s human resources.

Through our collaboration with SKZ, we are committed to providing internationally standardized training to support the Government’s efforts to reduce unemployment while creating greater opportunities for improved livelihoods and income, particularly for communities in underserved regions,” Haryanto said.
IPSI will offer three specialized training programs designed to address the evolving needs of the plastics and polymer industry.
The programs are Fundamentals of Polymer Science and Manufacturing, Operator Training Program: Production Operator, and Operator Training Program: Maintenance Operator.
The programs are designed to provide participants with practical and industry-relevant skills, ranging from fundamental knowledge of polymer science and manufacturing processes to technical competencies required to operate and maintain advanced manufacturing equipment.
IPSI’s training programs are open to graduates of senior high schools (SMA) and vocational high schools (SMK), newly hired entry-level operators, as well as professionals seeking to deepen their knowledge of polymer manufacturing and maintenance.
The Company has allocated approximately Rp250 billion for the development of IPSI, which is expected to become an internationally benchmarked polymer learning center.
Through hands-on training and industry-aligned education, IPSI is expected to strengthen the availability of job-ready talent while creating greater opportunities for career development and improved livelihoods.
The development of IPSI is also expected to contribute to the sustainable growth of Indonesia’s polymer industry by strengthening the availability of skilled human resources equipped with competencies aligned with industry needs.
