IMPC Controlling Shareholder Buys Up 3.4 Million Shares — What's Going On?

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — PT Tunggal Jaya Investama, the controlling shareholder of PT Impack Pratama Industri Tbk (IMPC), has increased its shareholding in the company. The purchases were carried out on 8 September and 10 September 2026.

According to a disclosure filed with the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), as quoted on Tuesday (15/9), Tunggal Jaya bought 3,400,000 shares at a price of Rp1,617 per share and 1,362,300 shares at Rp1,723 per share.

This brings the total number of shares purchased to 4,762,300, with an overall transaction value of Rp7,846,042,900, or approximately Rp7.84 billion.

“The purpose of the transaction is investment through direct share ownership,” the management stated.

Following the transaction, PT Tunggal Jaya Investama’s stake in IMPC now stands at 21.088 billion shares, equivalent to 38.41%. This is up from its previous position of 21.083 billion shares, equivalent to 38.39%.

For information, IMPC is a producer of UPVC and PVC roofing and other building materials under the Alderon and Royal brands.
