Immigration Services Standardised to Avoid Confusing the Public
JAKARTA — A total of 254 immigration service points located outside immigration offices across Indonesia have had their names standardised as ‘Beranda Imigrasi’. The change is intended to prevent the public from being confused when accessing immigration services located in various public spaces.
The 254 service points comprise 156 Public Service Malls, 33 Passport Service Units (ULP), 20 Immigration Lounges, 16 One-Stop Integrated Services (LTSP)/One-Roof Integrated Services (LTSA), 15 Immigration Office Work Units (UKK), 13 Ultima I’m SeZ locations and one Immigration Corner. All these immigration service units will now use the name ‘Beranda Imigrasi’.
The rebranding will affect the names of immigration service locations on Google Maps and the M-Paspor app. Once the standardised name has been introduced, people can search for immigration service locations other than immigration offices using the format ‘Beranda Imigrasi’ followed by the area name.
