Immigration Office Brings 'Cheerful Passport Service' to Asia Africa Festival 2026
As part of the ‘Immigration for the People’ campaign, the Bandung Class I Immigration Office (TPI) held its Layanan Paspor Ceria (Cheerful Passport Service) at the Asia Africa Festival 2026 on Jalan Asia Afrika, Bandung, on Saturday (11/7). The programme is designed to provide easier access to immigration services for members of the public who are unable to visit the office during standard working days.
Head of the Bandung Class I TPI Immigration Office, Muhamad Novyandri, explained that Pasporia is a regular weekend outreach service. ‘Through an easy, flexible, friendly, and enjoyable service concept, the presence of Pasporia in public spaces is expected to deliver a more inclusive and modern public service experience that meets the needs of the community,’ he stated.
Novyandri noted that the office opened a quota of 40 applicants for this edition of the service. A total of 39 applicants attended, and all were successfully processed for electronic passports. The services provided included new passport applications and replacements for expired passports, with 3 new applications for men, 8 new applications for women, 12 replacement applications for men, and 16 replacement applications for women. The entire process was conducted in an orderly, safe, and smooth manner without any obstacles.
