Immigration Ministry designates 254 service points as Beranda Imigrasi

Tangerang Regency (ANTARA) — The Ministry of Immigration and Corrections (Kemenimipas), through the Directorate General of Immigration, has officially standardised the identity of 254 immigration service units under a single brand: “Beranda Imigrasi”.

Director General of Immigration Hendarsam Marantoko said in Tangerang on Wednesday that the standardisation was a strategic step to help the public recognise and access immigration facilities more easily at various public activity centres, bringing services closer, making them faster and friendlier, and improving transparency.

“We need to bring them together under a consistent immigration brand that does not erase their individual profiles, but enables us to reach the public more closely,” he said.

Through Beranda Imigrasi, the public can access Passport Service Units (ULP), Immigration Office Work Units (UKK), Immigration Lounges, Immigration Corners, Ultimate In-Sync, Public Service Malls (MPP), and One-Stop Integrated Services (LTPS/LTSA).

One of the Beranda Imigrasi service locations is in the Banten Special Economic Zone in BSD Serpong, Tangerang Regency. Hendarsam said the location was considered strategic because high-quality immigration services also support the area’s investment climate and economy.

He explained that Beranda Imigrasi is intended to be a first point of contact: a place where people feel welcome and the starting point for positive interaction with the outside world.

Hendarsam added that Directorate General of Immigration data showed 254 service points across 29 regional offices and 104 immigration units. These comprise 196 Public Service Mall points and 33 Passport Service Units.

There are also 20 Immigration Lounges, 16 LTPS/LTSA services, 15 Immigration Office Work Units, 13 Ultimate In-Sync points and one Immigration Corner.

“Immigration has a role as a facilitator of the economy, and we hope it can contribute to supporting it,” he said.
