Immigration Chief Replaces West Java Head Following KPK Arrest
The Directorate General of Immigration has replaced the Head of the West Java Regional Office, who was recently arrested by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Syahrioma Delavino was appointed as the new Kakanwil for West Java, succeeding the previous official who is currently undergoing legal proceedings.
Director General of Immigration Hendarsam Marantoko stated that the appointment was not merely a routine rotation but a concrete step towards organisational reform. “This inauguration is not just a rotation of positions, but part of an effort to improve governance. We are ensuring that the ongoing legal process becomes a momentum to strengthen integrity and organisational management,” he said in an official statement.
In addition to the West Java post, the Directorate General also inaugurated the new Head of the West Jakarta Immigration Office, Rakha Sukma Purnama, replacing Ronald Arman. Other officials were also rotated in Banten, Yogyakarta, West Sumatra, Bangka Belitung, East Nusa Tenggara, North Maluku, Bengkulu, Maluku, and Tanjung Pinang.
