The cases involve foreign nationals from Morocco, Nigeria and Iraq who are suspected of using forged passports or travel identities that do not conform to their actual documentation.

The discovery was announced during a press conference at the Soekarno Hatta Airport Immigration Office in Tangerang, Banten, on Wednesday, 11 March 2026. The announcement was made by Pamuji Raharja, Head of the Jakarta Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration, accompanied by Galih Priya Kartika Perdhana, Head of the Immigration Class I Special Office at Soekarno Hatta Airport, and I Gusti Bagus M.
