Imipas Minister Reveals 90 Employees Dismissed for Violations
Minister of Immigration and Corrections Agus Andrianto has stated that his ministry has taken action on hundreds of violations, ranging from minor to severe, against its staff. Agus mentioned that 90 employees have also been dismissed for committing violations. The data was revealed by Agus during a working meeting with House of Representatives Commission XIII regarding the budget at the DPR RI building, Senayan, Jakarta, on Thursday (11/6/2026). He initially disclosed that there have been 815 violations committed by his staff to date. “We need to report that the disciplinary enforcement data we have upheld includes a recap of disciplinary punishments for employees in the categories of minor, moderate, and severe. We have taken action against 815 employees with classifications of minor, moderate, and severe violations,” Agus said during the meeting. He further stated that 93 employees are currently facing legal proceedings for committing violations. “Then, regarding the type of employees facing legal issues, there are 93 employees who are currently implicated in matters involving violations and are in process with the police,” he added. Furthermore, Agus revealed that his ministry has already dismissed dozens of employees. Seven of them were dishonourably discharged. “Then, employees who were dishonourably discharged; there are 83 employees who have been honourably discharged but not at their own request,” he stated. “Then there are 7 employees whom we have dishonourably discharged for various violations they committed, so a total of 90 employees have been dismissed for committing violations,” he continued. Agus also assured that his ministry is undertaking prevention efforts. One method is by displaying the names of high achievers and violators on a board. “This means we are striving to truly prevent misconduct, and we have even created a board showing who excels and who violates, written on the board as a warning to others so they do not repeat the same actions,” he said.
