IMIP Wins Nusantara CSR Awards for the Second Time
MOROWALI – PT Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP) has won the 17th Nusantara CSR Awards (NCSRA) in 2026.
At this event, IMIP received platinum alignment and CEPI platinum performance in the category of operational resilience and local risk through the healthy community movement programme, education, and free health checks in Bahodopi Subdistrict.
Then, in the category of community economic resilience and value chain through the Jejak Alam dalam Kain programme, which empowers women in ecoprint and community-based horticulture self-reliance planting in Lele Village. These two programmes achieved platinum alignment and CEPI champion candidate.
The event also awards the best national companies and the 100 best programme managers in Indonesia 2026, recognised as the main drivers of successful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) implementation.
NCSRA 2026 introduces a new paradigm as a mechanism for protecting company economic value.
This approach goes beyond narrative, proven through the La Tofi ESG Rating methodology strengthened by the Corporate Economic Protection Index (CEPI), an instrument that directly measures CSR’s contribution to reducing risk and protecting business value.
Head of CSR Department at PT IMIP, R. Tommy Adi Prayogo, after receiving the award in Jakarta on Wednesday (08/04), explained that through CEPI, CSR programmes are assessed based on the company’s ability to prevent potential economic losses, maintain operational stability, and protect the company’s value sustainability.
“Thus, CSR no longer stands on the sidelines of business strategy, but becomes part of the company’s protection structure itself,” said R. Tommy Adi Prayogo.
According to him, the majority of the assessed programmes show a high level of alignment between risks and mitigation actions. CSR is designed with precision, not only providing social benefits but also serving as a real protector for the company’s sustainability.
The Nusantara CSR Awards 2026 itself presents a new direction for Indonesian business that amid global uncertainty, company resilience is not only determined by financial strength, but also the ability to strategically manage social, environmental, and humanitarian risks.
“CSR in this paradigm is no longer a ‘cost’ incurred by the company, but an investment in value protection that safeguards business sustainability in the long term,” he explained.
This is the second time PT IMIP has won the Nusantara CSR Awards. The previous year, 2025, PT IMIP also won the same award in three categories.
First, in the Community Recycling Empowerment Award category, given for the KSM Ara Sinergi Berdaya Waste Bank empowerment programme that has been running since 2023 at 10 unit points.
Second, the Quality Education Award category, given for contributions in quality education, and third for the Marine Ecosystem Award, given for coastal and marine ecosystem environmental protection initiatives. ***
