PT Indonesia Morowali Industrial Park (IMIP) distributed 1,800 sacrificial meat packages to employees and local communities through its Mosque Management Council (DKM IMIP) following Eid al-Adha prayers at Masjid As Salaam.

A solemn atmosphere prevailed during the integrated mineral industrial area’s worship services, with attendees listening to Ustadz Rusli Baco’s sermon on ‘No Success Without Sacrifice’.

Baco stressed the importance of sincerity in sacrifice, solely for the hereafter as a key Muslim virtue. ‘Working away from family and parents is not in vain. Allah SWT sees, and angels record. Intend and sincerity for Allah, and it will become ongoing charity,’ he said.

Following prayers, the DKM IMIP-coordinated committee under the General Affair Department immediately carried out the animal sacrifices. DKM IMIP Chairman Djoko Suprapto explained the annual tradition has been held since 2019.

‘This is a tradition. We prioritise sacrificial meat for the needy, especially those around the IMIP area,’ Djoko stated on Thursday (28 May).

This year, IMIP slaughtered 21 animals: 20 cows and one goat, sourced from joint contributions by DKM, IMIP Peduli Foundation (YIP), PT QMB, PT HCAI, and collective and individual employee donations.

Djoko added that the number of sacrificial animals increased compared to previous years, with each meat package weighed equally to total 1,800. Previously, IMIP’s External Affairs Department distributed dozens of cows to 12 villages and two hamlets in Bahodopi District, as well as several Morowali Regency government agencies and TNI-Polri.

PT Jakarta Industrial Estate Pulogadung (Perseroda) or PT JIEP distributed 34 sacrificial animals to communities across several areas of Jakarta for Eid al-Adha 1447 H.

The reason, besides being faster and relatively cheaper, is that the meat meets hygiene and health standards.

The sacrificial animal handover was conducted in stages, with two cows already delivered on 27 May 2026.

The distribution serves as gratitude to Allah SWT for blessings, favours, and business continuity.

The DPP PPP and DPW PPP DKI Jakarta’s Eid al-Adha sacrifices were centralised at one location before distributing meat to those in need.
