IMI gives food commodities

JAKARTA (JP): The Indonesian Motorsports Association (IMI) handed over food stuff worth Rp 100 million (US$10,530) to police officers and train officials on duty during the eve of Idul Fitri.

"The food is jointly provided by IMI and its Jakarta chapter," said IMI chairman, Bob RE Nasution on Wednesday as quoted by Antara news agency.

"It's been a tradition for IMI to hand over food stuff to officers on duty on the eve of Idul Fitri to show our concern."

The food was distributed throughout Jakarta's five mayoralties. (yan)
