Illegal partnership ad

With reference to the distribution of a proposal by PT
Dayacipta Megakreasi, located at Jl. Mampang Prapatan X No. 37B,
South Jakarta, and the use of Garuda's logo, offering the
placement of an advertisement to jointly congratulate the Company
regarding its upcoming inaugural flights to Timika, Irian Jaya
and to Fukuoka, Japan, on July 2, 2001, we would like to make it
clear that Garuda has never appointed any company to coordinate
this activity.

In connection with this matter, we would like to suggest that
travel agencies, cargo agents and other business partners of
Garuda already in receipt of this proposal do not participate
because Garuda has never planned the placement of such an
advertisement.

We deem it necessary to make this clarification to the public,
as Garuda has received a substantial number of queries from its
business partners about the proposal.

We also hope that PT Dayacipta Megakreasi will immediately
stop distributing the proposal and using the logo of PT Garuda
Indonesia.
