Police have arrested a dealer of unauthorised prescription drugs in Cileungsi sub-district, Bogor, West Java. The suspect frequently operated in the Cileungsi and Klapanunggal areas.

“Members succeeded in securing a suspect selling Schedule G drugs who often transacted using cash on delivery (COD) in the Cileungsi and Klapanunggal areas,” said Cileungsi Police Chief Kompol Edison on Thursday (19/3/2026).

The suspect was arrested on Wednesday (18/3). Edison stated that the arrest was a development from a previous case he had uncovered.

“This arrest is the result of developing a previous case, namely the arrest of a buyer who was caught while engaging in illegal street racing,” he explained.

Additionally, they followed up on several reports regarding the circulation of unauthorised drugs. An investigation was conducted until the suspect was apprehended.

“Previously, officers also attempted to take action against another suspect. However, that suspect managed to escape by leaving behind the bag he was carrying. The bag was then secured by officers and found to contain Schedule G drugs,” Edison said.

Edison stated that he would continue to take action against similar incidents in his jurisdiction. Meanwhile, hundreds of unauthorised drug pills have been seized by the police.

“From the two arrests, police secured one selling suspect along with evidence consisting of 110 trihexyphenidyl (trihex) pills, 360 tramadol pills, one mobile phone, and one motorcycle,” he concluded.
