Illegal Minyakita Case Uncovered: Bulk Cooking Oil Repackaged

The Food Task Force of the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate of East Java Regional Police sealed evidence of illegal branded Minyakita packaged products at the Rama Jaya warehouse in Juanda, Sedati, Sidoarjo, East Java, on Tuesday (21/4/2026). The Special Criminal Investigation Directorate of East Java Regional Police successfully uncovered a case involving the repackaging of bulk cooking oil into illegal branded Minyakita products without official permits, as well as the use of mismatched BPOM certificate numbers and SNI labels. Officials, including Dirreskrimsus Polda Jatim Kombes Pol Roy H.M. Sihombing, Kabid Humas Polda Jatim Kombes Pol Jules Abraham Abast, Head of Perum Bulog East Java Regional Office Langgeng Wisnu Adi Nugroho, and Head of Surabaya BPOM Yudi Noviandi, displayed the seized items at the site. Police tape was placed around packaging machines used for the illegal Minyakita products at the warehouse.
