Illegal meat destroyed in Batam

BATAM, Riau: Batam seaport authority incinerated on Tuesday some
1.3 tons of beef from India that had illegally entered Indonesian
territory, said Suhartini, an authority official.

The beef was seized from traders in several markets in Batam
in an operation recently, jointly mounted by Batam Seaport
Authority and the Batam Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Maritime
