Illegal Crypto Investment Task Force Halts Two Entities, Blocks Access
The Illegal Financial Activities Eradication Task Force (Satgas PASTI) has halted the activities of YWWSDC and RTHAE. Both are suspected of offering illegal cryptocurrency and digital financial asset investments.
The shutdown was carried out after Satgas PASTI discovered several indications of violations. Notably, both entities did not possess permits from the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to operate as Digital Financial Asset Traders (PAKD).
The Secretariat of Satgas PASTI, Hudiyanto, stated that the task force also identified several other issues regarding the activities of these two entities.
“Satgas PASTI has halted the activities of YWWSDC and RTHAE and has blocked access to the related applications and/or URLs,” Hudiyanto said in an official statement on Monday (31/8/2026).
YWWSDC Claims US Licensing
YWWSDC claims to be part of the YWWSDC Group US Ltd, a company said to be licensed in Colorado, United States. This entity offers investment schemes for cryptocurrency trading and the purchase of digital financial asset tokens through the YWWSDC platform.
However, the results of clarification and verification by Satgas PASTI show that YWWSDC does not hold an OJK permit as a Digital Financial Asset Trader. Its business activities were also deemed inconsistent with the permits issued by the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM.
Furthermore, the applications and/or websites used by YWWSDC are not registered as Electronic System Providers (PSE) with the Ministry of Communication and Digital. Satgas PASTI also found indications of changes to URLs using different names but with similar appearances, which are suspected to be linked to YWWSCD.
RTHAE Offers Investments and Tokens
Meanwhile, RTHAE offers cryptocurrency and digital financial asset investments through the Retail Trader Hosted Automates Engine (RTHAE) platform. This includes initial token offerings claimed to be listed on the RTHAE exchange. Investors were even promised that deposited funds would be returned if the token failed to list.
However, Satgas PASTI found that RTHAE has no legal entity in Indonesia and does not hold an OJK permit as a Digital Financial Asset Trader. Its business activities are also reported to be inconsistent with the permits issued by the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM. The RTHAE applications and/or websites are also not registered as PSE with the Ministry of Communication and Digital.
Task Force Coordinates with Law Enforcement
Following the cessation of activities for both entities, Satgas PASTI has blocked access to the related applications and/or URLs. The Task Force will also coordinate with law enforcement agencies for further legal action.
Members of the public who feel aggrieved are urged to report immediately to local law enforcement to ensure swift handling. Hudiyanto warned the public not to be easily enticed by investment offers promising high and illogical returns, especially those claiming to represent foreign companies or stating they are in the process of obtaining OJK permits.
The public is advised to verify the legality of any investment provider before committing funds and to understand the characteristics, benefits, and risks of the products offered. If indications of illegal investment or financial activities are found, the public can report via the OJK SIPASTI website, OJK Contact 157, WhatsApp 081157157157, or email [email protected]. Victims of financial transaction fraud can report through the Indonesia Anti-Scam Centre (IASC) to support efforts for the rapid blocking of perpetrators’ accounts.
