IKN's Total Assets Reach Rp71.96 Trillion, Here's the Financial Condition of Basuki's Office
Nusantara Capital City Authority (OIKN) Head Basuki Hadimuljono revealed that the asset value of the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) continues to grow alongside the acceleration of development throughout 2025. As of 31 December 2025, total assets recorded on the OIKN balance sheet reached Rp71.96 trillion, an increase of Rp13.59 trillion compared to the end of 2024 position of Rp63.35 trillion.
According to Basuki, the increase reflects the ongoing pace of physical development in the new capital city area. “Total assets in the OIKN balance sheet as of 31 December 2025 amounted to Rp71.96 trillion, up Rp13.59 trillion from total assets of Rp63.35 trillion in 2024. This increase demonstrates the acceleration of physical development in IKN throughout 2025,” Basuki said during a working meeting with Commission II of the House of Representatives (DPR RI) at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, on Wednesday (16/7/2026).
Of the total assets, OIKN recorded current assets of Rp3.46 trillion, fixed assets of Rp6.2 trillion, investment properties of Rp61.69 trillion, and other assets of Rp601.99 billion. Not only did assets increase, but OIKN’s net worth also rose. As of 31 December 2025, the institution’s equity was recorded at Rp71.41 trillion, an increase of Rp8.07 trillion from the previous year’s Rp63.34 trillion.
“OIKN’s liabilities were recorded at Rp552.24 billion, consisting of third-party payables of Rp533 billion and unearned revenue of Rp19.11 billion. Meanwhile, OIKN’s net worth as of 31 December 2025 was recorded at Rp71.41 trillion, an increase of Rp12.74 trillion from the previous year,” he stated. Basuki explained that the increase in equity was mainly driven by inter-entity transactions amounting to Rp9.21 trillion. This value surged by approximately 802 percent compared to the 2024 realisation of Rp1.02 trillion.
“This originates from the realisation of state expenditure sourced from the state treasury. The growth in equity shows that every realised state expenditure has been converted into a real addition of state assets and wealth, managed in an orderly manner,” he explained. On the operational side, OIKN recorded revenue of Rp55.2 billion throughout 2025, while operational expenses reached Rp1.19 trillion.
“The increase in operational expenses is in line with the acceleration of IKN development in the first year, infrastructure development by the OIKN, and significant growth in fixed assets as reflected in the balance sheet,” he clarified. For the 2026 fiscal year, OIKN has been allocated a budget of Rp5.47 trillion. The budget consists of Rp423 billion for personnel expenditure, Rp732.5 billion for goods expenditure, and Rp4.3 trillion for capital expenditure.
Meanwhile, as of 30 June 2026, accrual-based budget realisation had reached Rp4.39 trillion, equivalent to 80.2 percent of the ceiling. Basuki emphasised that this figure already includes all procurement carried out through contract mechanisms. “Meanwhile, the realisation of the Fund Disbursement Order (SP2D) was recorded at Rp1.23 trillion or 26.2 percent of the budget ceiling. This realisation is calculated based on SP2Ds that have been issued by the Ministry of Finance,” Basuki concluded.
