IKN Spokesperson Troy Pantouw Passes Away

The Nusantara Capital City (IKN) Authority is in mourning. Staf Khusus Kepala Otorita IKN Bidang Komunikasi Publik, Troy Harold Yohanes Pantouw, passed away on Saturday (25/7/2026).

The IKN Authority expressed its deepest condolences for the loss of a figure who played a vital role in overseeing public communications for the new capital city project.

‘Otorita IKN invites all parties to pray that the deceased may find the best place beside God Almighty and that the bereaved family be granted strength and solace,’ read an official statement from the IKN Authority.

As a final tribute to the deceased, the family and the IKN Authority have arranged a series of funeral and memorial proceedings. A memorial service and farewell ceremony will be held on Saturday, 25 July 2026, at 21.30 WITA at Gereja Bethany FOG Ringroad in Balikpapan. The body will depart from Balikpapan for Jakarta on Sunday, 26 July 2026, at 06.10 WITA. The body will be received at Rumah Duka & Krematorium Sentosa RSPAD Gatot Soebroto, Room C-D, in Central Jakarta at 11.00 WIB. An official handover ceremony will take place on Monday, 27 July 2026, at 10.00 WIB, followed by burial at TPU Tanah Kusir, Block AA 1 Blad 168, in South Jakarta.
