IKN Spokesperson Troy Pantouw Passes Away

Troy Harold Yohanes Pantouw, the Spokesperson for the Nusantara Capital City (IKN), passed away on Saturday (25/7) at the age of 58. The Special Staff for Public Communication to the Head of the IKN Authority died today, 25 July 2026. The sad news was conveyed by the IKN Authority via their official Instagram account, @IKN_ID. “We mourn the passing of Troy Harold Yohanes Pantouw, Special Staff for Public Communication to the Head of the IKN Authority,” the post stated. Troy was born on 8 May 1968. “May he be granted the best place by God Almighty, and may the family left behind be given fortitude and strength,” the IKN account added. The Head of the IKN Authority, Basuki Hadimuljono, also posted a similar message on his account @basukihadimuljono. Troy was widely known for his extensive experience in the communications field and had previously worked in television media. During the COVID-19 era, he served as the Head of the Public Communication Sub-Division for the COVID-19 Handling Task Force.
