IKN Spokesperson Troy Pantouw Passes Away

The spokesperson for the Nusantara Capital City (IKN), Troy Harold Yohanes Pantaow, passed away on Saturday (25/7).

The Special Staff to the Head of the IKN Authority for Public Communication died at the age of 58.

The news of his passing was conveyed by the IKN through its official Instagram account, @IKN_ID.

“We mourn the passing of Troy Harold Yohanes Pantaow, Special Staff to the Head of the IKN Authority for Public Communication,” read the post on the IKN’s account.

Troy was born on 8 May 1968 and passed away today, 25 July 2026.

“May he be granted the best place at the side of God Almighty, and may the family he leaves behind be given patience and strength,” the IKN added.

The account of the Head of the IKN Authority, Basuki Hadimuljono, @basukihadimuljono, also posted a similar message.

Troy was widely known for his long career in the world of communications. He had also previously worked in television media.

During the COVID-19 era, he served as Head of the Public Communication Subdivision of the COVID-19 Handling Task Force.
