IKD Activation in Mataram Surges 100 Percent During SPMB Registration
The number of residents activating their Digital Identity Cards (IKD) at the Mataram Population and Civil Registration Office (Dukcapil) has surged dramatically during the registration period for the 2026 New Student Admission (SPMB). In a single day, the office can handle up to 500 services.
“The level of visits for IKD activation has increased by 100 percent,” said Head of Mataram Dukcapil, Mansur, on Friday (26/6/2026).
According to Mansur, visits by Mataram residents for IKD activation over three service days last week reached 999 people. The activation service was dominated by senior high school students.
“We are present to provide the best service to support the success of the 2026 SPMB,” Mansur stated.
“The IKD activation process is quick and easy; residents only need to bring their ID card or state their National Identity Number (NIK). After that, it can be activated immediately,” he added.
