IITELMIT scheduled for May

JAKARTA: An international exhibition on telecommunications
called the International Telecommunications, Media and
Information Technology and Exhibition (IITELMIT) will be held
from May 7 to May 10 this year in Jakarta, the organizer said.

PT Rantai Expo International (REI) event manager Baki Lee said
on Wednesday that more than 300 participants from 40 countries
were expected to take part in the event.

He said the participants, mainly from Southeast Asia, would
display the latest telecommunications and information technology
(IT) products.

The event will be cohosted by state-owned telecommunications
companies PT Telkom and Indosat.

IITELMIT is an annual event, with the first exhibition held
two years ago. -- JP
