IIF Provides Educational Assistance to Visually Impaired Students in Jakarta
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (IIF) has provided educational assistance to visually impaired students at SLB-A (Sekolah Luar Biasa Bagian A) Pembina Tingkat Nasional in Jakarta.
President Director and CEO of IIF, Rizki Pribadi Hasan, stated that the activity is part of the company’s commitment to supporting inclusive education while welcoming National Education Day.
“We hope that IIF can continue to provide positive and sustainable impact on the world of education and inclusive empowerment,” said Rizki based on his statement in Jakarta on Friday.
The corporate social responsibility activity was held on 24 April 2026 in collaboration with Yayasan Helping Hands.
During the event, according to him, education on how to communicate with people with disabilities was conducted, a sharing session on the world of work for people with disabilities, as well as interactive team-building activities with the students.
In addition, the company also distributed assistance in the form of three laptop units to support teaching and learning activities and provided educational assistance worth Rp25 million for students at the school.
Rizki said the social activity aims to provide insight, motivation, and build self-confidence for the students.
“The entire series of activities aims to provide insight, motivation, and build the self-confidence of visually impaired students so that they are more prepared to face the future,” he said.
The activity is part of IIF Act, a platform for employee involvement in the company’s social responsibility programmes.
Through the programme, employees are encouraged to contribute directly to creating sustainable social impact for the community.
IIF is a non-bank financial institution established by the government through the Ministry of Finance together with international financial institutions to support infrastructure financing in Indonesia.
Chief Risk Officer of IIF, Lestari Umardin, said the company is committed to continuing similar programmes with various parties.
“Through collaboration, we want to ensure that equal and meaningful educational access can reach more beneficiaries,” said Lestari.
Through the activity, the company emphasised that development does not only focus on physical infrastructure but also on strengthening human resource capacity.
