JAKARTA — PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (IIF) has cut the time taken for initial infrastructure-financing assessments by up to 30 per cent through the digitalisation of its business processes. The company has integrated more than 30 internal applications into a single platform to accelerate proposal processing, risk assessment and the monitoring of project financing.

The digitalisation was carried out through Credit Sentinel, a platform developed by IIF. The system integrates financing processes from the receipt of proposals through to project monitoring, enabling assessments to be completed more quickly and transparently for developers and investors.

IIF also plans to enhance Credit Sentinel with more advanced analytical capabilities and process automation. The development is intended to improve operational efficiency and strengthen risk management in infrastructure financing.

IIF President Director and Chief Executive Rizki Pribadi Hasan said faster processing and investor confidence were important factors in financing infrastructure projects. He said the use of technology needed to go hand in hand with stronger corporate governance.

“Indonesia’s infrastructure challenges are not only about capital, but also about speed and trust. Credit Sentinel is just the beginning. We will continue to innovate and use technology to make financing faster, more transparent and more responsive to clients’ evolving needs, while maintaining the highest standards of governance,” Rizki said in a written statement on Tuesday (13 October 2026).

The digital transformation received an award at the 2026 Indonesia Technology Excellence Awards in the Enterprise Software – Financial Services category. The award recognised the development of the technology system IIF uses in its financing processes.

Alongside digitalisation, IIF is strengthening compliance, governance and legal risk management to support long-term financing transactions. These measures are considered important because infrastructure financing generally involves complex transaction structures.

In the area of legal governance, IIF was also recognised at the 2026 Asia Legal Awards as one of the Top 10 General Counsel of the Year. The company also received the Regional Leadership in Non-Bank Financial Services award at the 2026 In-House Counsel Summit & Awards (IHCSA).

IIF said it would continue developing technology to support the growth of its infrastructure-financing business. System integration and automation are expected to accelerate transactions without reducing oversight of financing risks.
