The Indonesian Composite Index (IHSG) extended its decline into the morning session of trading today. The IHSG weakened by 0.32 per cent or 25.93 points to the level of 8,209.33 on Friday afternoon, 27 February 2026.

Based on monitoring through Stockbit, the IHSG experienced two declines at the start of the session before hitting the low of 8,098. Subsequently, the index rebounded gradually and moved within the range of 8,170 to 8,210.

Transaction value reached Rp 11.19 trillion whilst transaction volume hit Rp 25.02 billion. This volume represented accumulated trades conducted by investors totalling 1.48 million transactions.

The industrial sector was the sole sector posting positive results, gaining 2.06 per cent. All other sectors remained in negative territory.

The transportation sector experienced the deepest decline of 1.53 per cent. Other sectors undergoing significant correction included the financial sector, which fell 0.79 per cent, and the property sector, which weakened 0.23 per cent.

From a technical perspective, analysts at Phintraco Securities observed that the Stochastic RSI indicator was currently moving downward from the overbought area towards the neutral zone. Meanwhile, the MACD remained in positive territory with a histogram beginning to narrow.

“Given these conditions, the IHSG is estimated to move within the range of 8,200–8,300 in the afternoon session of trading today,” according to the projection from Phintraco Securities’ analytical team in its daily research as cited on Friday, 27 February 2026.

Phintraco Securities also reported three constituents in the 45 most prominent stocks (LQ45) successfully achieved the highest price movements (top gainers):

PT Vale Indonesia Tbk (INCO): The INCO share surged 4.93 per cent or 350 points to 7,450.

PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN): The AMMN share jumped 3.08 per cent or 225 points to the level of 7,525.

PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGAS): The PGAS share followed with a gain of 3.04 per cent or 70 points to the position of 2,370.
