IHSG Struggles, Foreign Investors Accumulate These Stocks
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — Foreign investors recorded a net buy of IDR 341.3 billion in Thursday’s trading (26/02/2026). Total foreign purchases were recorded at IDR 8.46 trillion and total sales at IDR 8.12 trillion, with overall transaction value reaching IDR 16.58 trillion.
Sectorally, foreign capital flows were predominantly directed towards commodity-based and mineral downstreaming stocks. Nickel and mining issuers became the main attraction.
Outside of commodities, foreign investors also accumulated shares of large-cap banks as a proxy for domestic economic growth. Several infrastructure and industrial stocks also recorded accumulation.
Trimegah Bangun Persada (NCKL) became the stock with the largest net foreign buy, at IDR 648.2 billion. This was followed by Impack Pratama Industri (IMPC) at IDR 274.4 billion and Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI) at IDR 172.3 billion.

Meanwhile, the Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) ended trading in the red. However, the IHSG managed to trim its losses before closing.
The IHSG closed down 86.97 points or -1.05% to 8,235.26. About 1.5 hours before the close, the IHSG had fallen as much as 2%.
A total of 594 stocks fell, 157 rose, and 207 were unchanged. Transaction value reached IDR 27.85 trillion, involving 54.04 billion shares in 3.09 million transactions. Market capitalization corrected to IDR 14,744 trillion.
Bukit Ulluwatu Villa (BUVA) was recorded as the main drag, with a weight of -5.11 index points. VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas (VKTR) and IMPC then weighed on the IHSG by -5.08 and -5.02 index points, respectively.
