IHSG Strengthens 0.34 Percent This Week

The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) Composite Index (IHSG) closed at 6,196 on Friday, 24 July 2026. The index strengthened 0.34 percent this week compared to the previous week’s close of 6,175. “Stock trading data on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 20-24 July 2026 closed in positive territory,” said IDX Corporate Secretary Kautsar Primadi Nurahmad in an official statement on Saturday, 25 July 2026. The highest increase was experienced by the exchange’s average daily transaction volume, which surged 66.88 percent to 43.68 billion shares from 26.17 billion shares the previous week. Furthermore, the average daily transaction value rose 41.21 percent to IDR 19.76 trillion from IDR 13.99 trillion the week before. The average daily transaction frequency also increased by 14.4 percent to 2.67 million transactions from 2.33 million transactions the previous week. The exchange’s market capitalisation increased to IDR 10,870 trillion from IDR 10,749 trillion the previous week, marking a 1.13 percent rise in one week. Meanwhile, foreign investors recorded a net sell value of IDR 1.36 trillion on Friday, 24 July 2026. Throughout 2026, foreign investors have booked a net sell value of IDR 79.09 trillion.
