The Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed in positive territory on Monday, 25 May 2026. The index opened at 6,187.65 and traded within a range of 6,124.58 to 6,239.59 during the session. Meanwhile, Sharia-based indices moved mixed. The Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) fell 0.23 per cent to 386.03, the ISSI declined 0.10 per cent to 217.84, and the JII70 dropped 0.24 per cent to 151.50. The IHSG’s rise was supported by most sectors. Six out of 11 sectoral indices closed in positive territory. The transportation sector recorded the largest gain, rising 3.83 per cent to 1,797.59. The consumer cyclicals sector rose 1.09 per cent to 940.78, the industrial sector increased 0.79 per cent to 1,705.80, and the infrastructure sector gained 0.77 per cent to 1,853.04. Conversely, the energy sector was the main drag on the market, falling 2.04 per cent to 2,886.37. The raw materials sector declined 0.94 per cent to 1,629.33, the technology sector fell 0.31 per cent to 6,999.07, non-durable consumer goods dropped 0.13 per cent to 686.68, and healthcare fell 0.09 per cent to 1,562.71. Among LQ45 blue-chip stocks, mining, telecommunications, and banking shares drove the index higher. Top LQ45 gainers were led by PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN), which surged 8.62 per cent to Rp3,150.
