IHSG Rebounds, Here Are 5 Stock Recommendations for Today
The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) ended Friday’s trading session in positive territory, rising 2.07% to 6,007.66. The index’s gain was supported by shares of PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN), PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), and PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA), while the biggest drags came from PT Bank Mandiri Tbk (BMRI), PT Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk (SRAJ), and PT MPRO Tbk (MPRO).
Foreign investors recorded a net inflow of Rp287.36 billion in the regular market and Rp287.77 billion across all markets. Sectorally, 10 of 11 sectors closed higher, with the basic materials sector leading gains at 4.85%, while the healthcare sector was the sole decliner, slipping 0.58%.
On the global front, major Wall Street indices also ended in positive territory. The Dow Jones rose 0.70% to 51,202, the S&P 500 gained 0.50% to 7,431, and the Nasdaq added 0.31% to 25,888.
Market participants are expected to continue monitoring the rupiah exchange rate and foreign capital flows, following the return of net foreign inflows in the latest session. Investor attention is also focused on the upcoming Bank Indonesia Board of Governors meeting, scheduled for 18 June. Market sentiment was reflected in the strengthening of the EIDO ETF by 1.82% and the MSCI Indonesia index by 0.88%.
On the corporate front, PT Niramas Utama Tbk (JELI), a dessert producer under the INACO brand, commenced its book-building period on 15-22 June 2026 and is targeting a listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on 7 July 2026. The company aims to raise up to Rp392 billion, with an offering price range of Rp900-Rp1,120 per share. PT Niramas Utama International currently holds 99.80% of JELI’s shares. Proceeds from the initial public offering will be allocated as follows: 51.04% for capital injection into PT Niramas Pandaan Sejahtera (NPS), 18.36% for machinery purchases, 10.63% to repay short-term debt, and 19.97% for working capital.
Meanwhile, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) announced a share buyback plan with a maximum value of Rp500 billion, funded entirely from internal cash reserves. BBRI’s cash position in the first quarter of 2026 was recorded at Rp33.06 trillion, up from Rp32.04 trillion at the end of 2025. If the corporate action is fully realised, total assets are estimated to become Rp2,249.33 trillion from Rp2,249.83 trillion, while equity is projected to be Rp344.56 trillion from Rp345.06 trillion. Based on proforma consolidated financial statements as of 31 March 2026, the capital adequacy ratio (CAR) is expected to remain at 22.86%, with a return on equity (ROE) of 18.37%. The repurchased shares will be transferred through an employee, director, and commissioner share ownership programme after obtaining shareholder approval. The buyback is scheduled to run from 12 June to 11 September 2026, in accordance with OJK Regulation No. 13 of 2023 and OJK Letter No. S-10/D.04/2026.
Furthermore, PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN) has decided to distribute a cash dividend for the 2025 financial year amounting to US$500 million, or US$0.015 per share, based on the decision of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held on 10 June 2026. This represents a dividend payout ratio of 65.11% of net profit attributable to owners of the parent entity. With BYAN’s share price at Rp9,700 at the close of trading on 12 June, the potential dividend yield is approximately 2.77%, based on the Bank Indonesia JISDOR exchange rate of Rp17,921 per US dollar. The company set the cum dividend date in the regular and negotiation markets for 19 June 2026, with dividend payment scheduled for 8 July 2026.
