IHSG Rebound Signal: Discounted Blue Chip Stocks Become Targets
The Indonesian stock market has experienced various pressures since the beginning of the year. This has caused the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) to decline by 11.71% year-to-date to 7,634 at the market close on Friday (17/4/2026). This correction has made the valuations of blue chip stocks relatively cheap. In line with the sluggish composite index, the LQ45 and IDX80 indices have corrected by 10.36% year-to-date and 10.85% year-to-date, respectively. However, fundamentally, several constituents recorded significant net profit growth throughout 2025, although some also experienced corrections.
