IHSG Predicted to Continue Correction at Start of Week, Here Are Stock Recommendations
The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) is expected to continue its correction in trading on Monday (27/7/2026). The research team at MNC Sekuritas noted that the IHSG fell 1.88% to 6,196 at the close of trading on Friday (24/7/2026), with the decline still dominated by selling pressure in the market. Technically, MNC Sekuritas assesses that the IHSG’s movement has fallen below the MA60 level and has reached its minimum correction target. However, on a weekly basis, the IHSG still recorded a slight gain of 0.34%. ‘On the weekly timeframe, the IHSG strengthened slightly by 0.34%, accompanied by selling pressure. We estimate that the current position of the IHSG is part of wave iv of wave (c) of wave [iv],’ MNC Sekuritas wrote in its MNCS Daily Scope research. MNC Sekuritas urged market participants to pay attention to the 6,074 to 6,146 area as the next correction range. Meanwhile, the nearest strengthening area is estimated to be in the range of 6,198 to 6,222. The IHSG support levels are at 6,111 and 6,007, while resistance levels are estimated to be in the area of 6,599 and 6,705.
