IHSG Opens Up 1.42% at 7,606.90 Today

The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) opened higher at the start of trading today, Tuesday (14/4/2026). Based on data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) around 09:01 WIB, the IHSG rose 106.71 points or 1.42% to the level of 7,606.90. The IHSG opened today at the position of 7,598.80, higher compared to the previous close at 7,500.19. Throughout the early trading session, the index moved in the range of 7,592.74 to 7,610.28. Trading frequency was recorded at 104,100 transactions. Market capitalisation was in the range of Rp13,523 trillion. A total of 419 stocks strengthened, 82 stocks weakened, and 458 stocks remained unchanged. This composition shows that the majority of stocks are in the green zone and are driving the index’s strengthening. KOMPAS100 also strengthened by 1.72% to the position of 1,055.14, while IDX30 rose 1.54% to the level of 405.16. Meanwhile, the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) strengthened by 1.50% to the position of 529.96, and the Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) rose 1.20% to 275.18.
