IHSG Opens Up 1.01 Percent to 7,753.72

The Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) opened higher at the start of trading today, Wednesday (15/4/2026). Based on data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) around 09:11 WIB, the IHSG rose 77.77 points or 1.01 percent to the level of 7,753.72. The IHSG opened today at 7,750.90, higher than the previous close at 7,675.95. Throughout the early trading session, the index moved in the range of 7,734.22 to 7,773.58. Trading frequency was recorded at 441,300 transactions. Market capitalisation was in the range of Rp13,827 trillion. A total of 427 stocks strengthened, 163 stocks weakened, and 369 stocks remained unchanged. This composition shows that the majority of stocks are in the green zone and are driving the index’s strengthening. KOMPAS100 also strengthened by 1.14 percent to 1,074.68, while IDX30 rose 1.11 percent to 410.63. Meanwhile, the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) strengthened by 1.25 percent to 537.73, and the Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) rose 1.20 percent to 280.61.
