IHSG opens lower at 6,112.77 as BBCA, BBRI, and BBNI shares decline

The Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) opened lower today, Friday, 29 May 2026, following the Idul Adha 1447 Hijriah public holiday. According to Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) data at 9:00 AM WIB, the IHSG opened at 6,112.77, down 0.28% or 17.42 points from the previous close of 6,130.19. During early trading, the index ranged between 6,112.91 and 6,136.24. Trading frequency recorded 76,460 transactions with a market capitalisation of Rp10.716 trillion. In terms of stock movements, 209 stocks advanced, 232 declined, and 518 remained unchanged. At the start of the session, the LQ45 index fell 1.11% to 613.49, while the IDX30 index declined 1.20% to 349.85. Meanwhile, the KOMPAS100 index fell 0.13% to 807.78, and the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) dipped 1.06% to 377.88. Islamic stock indices also traded in the red. The ISSI index fell 0.18% to 214.83. Adaro Andalan Indonesia (AADI) shares rose 0.6% to 8,375, followed by Alamtri Resources Indonesia (ADRO) gaining 0.87% to 2,320. Alamtri Minerals Indonesia (ADMR) shares rose 0.99% to 1,525. Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI) shares also declined in early trading, falling 0.65% to 3,050.
