IHSG Opens 0.14% Higher as MDKA, ADMR and BBRI Shares Gain
The Indonesia Composite Stock Index (IHSG) opened higher on Monday, 25 May 2026. According to data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), the IHSG stood at 6,170.55 in morning trade, up 8.50 points or 0.14 per cent from the previous close of 6,162.05. The index opened at 6,187.65, a 0.42 per cent rise, and later touched a high of 6,224.75 and a low of 6,145.71 during the session. Trading activity was robust with a transaction volume of 3.227 billion shares and a value of Rp1.679 trillion. The frequency of trades reached 188,300 transactions. Of the traded stocks, 376 advanced, 192 declined, and 391 remained unchanged. Market capitalisation stood at Rp10.651 trillion. Other major indices on the Indonesia Stock Exchange showed mixed movements alongside the IHSG. The LQ45 index rose 2.06 points or 0.33 per cent to 622.50, while the IDX30 advanced 1.75 points or 0.49 per cent to 356.43. The KOMPAS100 index rose 0.02 points, or 0.00 per cent, to 812.72. The ISSI index fell 0.58 points, or 0.27 per cent, to 217.48, while the JII70 index corrected 0.98 points, or 0.65 per cent, to 150.88. Blue-chip stocks in the LQ45 index also recorded varied movements in morning trade. PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) led gains, rising 90 points or 3.31 per cent to 2,810. PT Alamtri Minerals Indonesia Tbk (ADMR) also rose 40 points or 2.70 per cent to 1,520. PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) gained 60 points or 1.97 per cent to 3,110, followed by PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT), which rose 40 points or 1.95 per cent to 2,090.
