Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia — The Indonesia Stock Exchange Composite Index (IHSG) managed to pare back the sharp weakness seen in the first session of the previous trading day. On Wednesday (29/7/2026), the index closed down 0.64% at 6,091.39.

Transaction value was brisk, exceeding Rp22.97 trillion with a trading volume of 40.14 billion shares across 1.97 million transactions. A total of 177 shares strengthened, 468 weakened and 148 were unchanged.

Meanwhile, foreign investors recorded a jumbo net buy of Rp8.97 trillion across the entire market and Rp9.16 trillion in the negotiated and cash markets. In addition, they recorded a net sale of Rp183.81 billion in the regular market.
