IHSG Closes Slightly Higher in the Green at 6,039, Led by These Stocks
The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) managed to hold its position in the green zone until the close of trading on Tuesday, 14 July 2026. Although the gain was limited, the performance shows the index remains resilient amid profit-taking pressure and global market movements.
Based on data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the IHSG closed up 0.03 per cent, or 1.68 points, at 6,039.52. Throughout the trading session, the index moved within a range of 6,002.90 to 6,095.02.
The closing level was higher than the previous close of 6,037.84, allowing the IHSG to end trading in positive territory once again.
IHSG Moved Erratically During the Session
The IHSG’s movement throughout the day was fairly dynamic. At the start of trading, the index came under pressure, touching its lowest level at 6,002.90.
However, entering the next session, the IHSG gradually recovered and briefly touched its daily high of 6,095.02 before trimming part of the gain towards the close.
Although it closed slightly higher, the movement shows the IHSG was still able to maintain positive sentiment after recording a fairly significant jump in the previous trading session.
