IHSG Closes Higher at 6,046 on 15 July 2026, Several Stocks Dominate Trading

The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) closed higher on Wednesday, 15 July 2026. Based on data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the IHSG ended the session up 0.11 percent at 6,046.436, reflecting positive movement in the stock market at the close of trading. Throughout the day, the index moved in a fluctuating manner before ultimately managing to stay in positive territory until the close. The strengthening was also seen in several other main indices on the IDX. The LQ45 index closed up 0.32 percent at 600.782. Meanwhile, the IDXLQ45LCL strengthened 0.31 percent to 87.427, the IDX30 rose 0.09 percent to 339.014, and the IDX80 gained 0.14 percent to 90.191.

In terms of trading activity, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) was the most actively traded stock by volume. BUMI recorded a trading volume of 3.45 billion shares with a transaction value of approximately IDR 520.12 billion, and its share price closed up 2 points at 149. The second most active position was held by PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) with a trading volume of around 2.08 billion shares, closing up 11 points to 146. PT RANS Entertainment Indonesia Tbk (RANS) was in third place, with 1.17 billion shares traded and a closing price up 14 points to 218.

Several other stocks also recorded price increases. PT Dewa United Tbk (DEWA) rose 12 points to close at 358, with a trading volume of 1.12 billion shares. PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) saw a significant jump, gaining 45 points to close at 575. Additionally, PT Bangun Karya Perkasa Jaya Tbk (BULL) increased 36 points to 370, and PT Trimitra Propertindo Tbk (LAND) edged up 2 points to 81. However, amidst the overall market strengthening, some stocks ended the day in the red, including PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR), which fell 4 points to 89 with a trading volume of 968.86 million shares.
